Bodyboard Coaching Weekend June 30 – July 1 2012
Big congratulations to Sean’Scroff’ Gray who took top honours as the most improved rider of the weekend at the beginning of July event. The two-to-three foot cross shore swell served up some fun high tide peaks on both the Saturday and the Sunday which the bodyboarding crew used to hone their new skills.
Scott Dolan from Wales commented “Thanks for the weekend guys, I really felt that over the course of the weekend I really improved and my wave count has definitely gone up!”
Scroff was presented with a brand new Damian King Turbo bodyboard and all of the attendees received a goodie bag containing a DVD and a Bodyboard-Depot t-shirt.
Brian Wilkinson travelled down from Manchester and worked on wave selection, gaining speed and duck diving. He commented “Such small tips can make such a big difference!”.
The crew went mobile to a number of Newquay breaks including Tolcarne, Fistral and Great western beaches.
